A putter is a special device used by a golfer to hit a ball. It is a projectile consisting of a handle, a head and a connecting element (metal or plastic rod). The handle is the upper part of the projectile, designed for gripping. It is covered with leather or rubber on top. The head, the “hitting” part of the club, consists of the neck, toe, heel, front part and sole covered with grooves. The heads may be different sizes, depending on the type of club.

Golf clubs are made of different materials, they have different sizes and colors.

TYPES OF HANDS
Anyone who wants to learn the game, will certainly be interested in the question: what is the name of the golf club? Well, these shells are divided into groups depending on the range of impact, and each group has its own name. Here are the most common groups of clubs:

Driver. The putter is designed for the furthest shot (usually the first shot). It has the biggest head with the smallest angle. Hit the ball with this club is not made from the ground, but from a special tichka, which is set by the golfer;

Wood. The club is equipped with a large head and is designed for long shots. As the name suggests, in the past, the head of this club was made of wood, but now the material is mainly used titanium alloy. Voodle stroke is made mostly from low grass, sometimes from a tee;

Hybrid – a club that allows you to hit long and medium distances from high or low grass;

Iron – a putter with a metal head. Designed for hitting at medium to short distances. Equipped with a flat metal head. This projectile can be used both on high and low grass. The target is usually the green, where the hole is located;

Wade – a putter used to hit short distances and knock the ball out of the sand “trap”. Thus, to knock the ball out of the sand, a club called a sand-wage is used. And the strike should be made not on the ball, but on the sand in front of it. And if it is necessary for the ball to fly a short distance along a high trajectory, the pitching neck is used;

A putter is a putter that is needed to hit a ball that is almost next to the hole.

Each of the groups listed can have multiple putters, which are numbered. There is a difference in stroke length (about 10 meters) between two consecutive putter numbers.
